GIVE HIM CREDIT
He's certainly come under plenty of criticism recently, but recently the controversial teen star Justin Bieber did something nice for someone in the disabled/physically-different community:
An 8-year-old with Down syndrome got to live out her dream, scoring a meeting
with pop star Justin Bieber.
Marisa Cox has Down syndrome and recently underwent a kidney transplant.
During her many hospital stays, her mother told FOX5 San Diego that watching
videos of Bieber and listening to his music appeared to speed the girl’s
recovery.
It was Cox’s wish to meet the pop singer and touch his hand, her mother
said.
Saturday night that dream became reality when Cox met Bieber before his
concert at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego.
The meeting appeared to touch Bieber as well as his young fan.
th
“One of the best parts of the job. Nice meeting you Marisa. Stay strong for
me!” Bieber tweeted, along with a photo of Cox planting a kiss on his cheek.

Good for him. May many of those fortunate enough to be celebrities remember those who were born different...
